More than 20 years in Chicago real estate

I have worked as a real estate broker in the Chicagoland area for more than 20 years, in both residential and commercial real estate. In that time I have handled every kind of transaction, from ordinary purchases and sales to foreclosures and short sales, and every kind of property my clients need: condos, townhomes, single-family homes, multi-family buildings and commercial property. Since 2004 I have closed more than 275 sales and leases, including more than 70 in Edgewater and nearly 40 foreclosure and short sale transactions.

My clients are first-time buyers, families moving up or downsizing, owners selling a home they have lived in for decades, and investors building a portfolio. Many come back for their next move or send their friends and relatives. That is what I mean by "your realtor for life".

An independent managing broker

I hold an Illinois managing broker license, the license level that allows a broker to run a brokerage and supervise transactions, and I work independently rather than under a large franchise. You deal with me directly, from the first conversation to the closing table.

I agree everything in writing up front, so there are no surprises. For sellers, the commission is negotiable and agreed before we list. For buyers, a short buyer agreement, standard for every Realtor since 2024, explains what I'll do for you and how compensation works.

Uptown, Edgewater and Chicago's North Side

I am based in Uptown and Edgewater, two lakefront neighborhoods on Chicago's North Side. I know their vintage courtyard buildings, lakefront high-rises and two-flats, and the questions buyers should ask about condo associations, assessments and building rules. I also work in West Ridge, Rogers Park, Albany Park, Irving Park, Lincoln Square, Lake View, Norwood Park and Jefferson Park in Chicago, and Skokie, Niles, Morton Grove, Park Ridge, Des Plaines, Mount Prospect, Wilmette, Arlington Heights and Naperville in the suburbs, and across the rest of Chicagoland.

Serving Chicago's Romanian community

As a Romanian-American, I work with many clients who are buying their first home in the United States, and I can explain each step of the American process in Romanian: pre-approval, offers, attorney review, inspections and closing.
